Researchers, doctors, scientists, artists, and cultural figures are all eligible to apply for a 10-year Golden Visa as talented expats. Specific requirements include valid contracts with well-known businesses, approval from the Ministry of Economy for investor patents, accreditation from the Emirates Scientists’ Council or the prestigious H.H Mohammad bin Rashid Medal for scientists, and recognition as a talent in the arts and culture by the Ministry of Culture and Youth. If you are the head of a global company or a prestigious organization, or if you have remarkable academic achievements and executive positions, you are encouraged to apply. Experts in other professions, such as doctors and engineers who have demonstrated their worth through years of practice and publications, are also welcome to apply.

Investors and entrepreneurs with a firm or project with a capitalization of AED 5 million or higher, as well as exceptional students and their parents, are eligible to apply for a 5-year Golden Visa.

In addition, the Golden Visa program has added a new need for software engineers and developers with experience in areas like as artificial intelligence and digital technology. Under this scheme, citizens and noncitizens alike who have demonstrated expertise in computer programming are eligible to apply for permanent residency for a period of ten years.
